From 2010 BEST APP TO 2016 GARBAGE! Subscription fee

I bought this app back in 2009/2010 for 1.99 or 2.99. Ive shared with other Firefighters & even some private Ambulance. They paid over 5.00. Now theres a monthly subscription fee?!?!?
GREEDIEST, AVARICIOUS, RAPACIOUS. Im jus going to use the FREE GOOGLE Calender. Ive found a way to set-up the 4 Platoon there! In this app I still had to MANUALLY enter my debit days.
