Not a happy customer!

Bought this app a few years ago and paid $6.99. It was a little pricey but I liked the idea of a one time fee. Calendar was great but now with the new update they want to charge a yearly subscription. I know its only .99 but I bought the app specifically because it was a one time fee and until today, it was the principle of the matter. I finally decided I was going to "bite the bullet" and renew because I really liked the calendar. So I go in to renew and because my trial period had expired, they want to charge me $5.99 for the first time and then .99 per year. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! All I can say is this is a shady way to run your business. I can understand you may need to go to a yearly subscription but those that bought under the old premise should have been grandfathered. On top of that, the app isnt as good as it used to be. So you want me to pay more money for subpar service? Sounds like somebody took their business model from the health insurance industry. Stay away from this app! If they did it once, they will do it again. I for one, will take my business elsewhere.
