The fix to this last update made this app great again, even with a yearly subscription. The best part about this app is the open lines of communication with the developer. Well done!

Like many long time users of this app, I am disappointed in the new subscription charge. I paid the one time charge for this and was happy with the app and had many coworkers download the app. I emailed them about the new charge and was told that due to the cost of maintaining and updating the app they had to charge a .99 cent charge (which they state is the lowest cost) to make up the for the lack of revenue to keep the app maintained. I do understand the economics of it, but like others believe that this should have been for new users of the app only and not for those who have used for years and paid the "one time fee". Sadly I will have to move on to a different app as I disagree with this new policy.

Third time I had to write this review. This was the best app for scheduling. Downloaded the current update(2016) which said it was for bug fixes. Now Ive lost my info, no exposure info transferred, kelly days lost, basically have to start from scratch. To kick me in the teeth now they want to charge me SPECTACULAR!!!! Great job would not recommend this app any more just want to go back to the pay once and done app with all my info there!!!!

App update went out a couple days ago and there were some bugs, they fixed it within days and app works great! Love the new updates and app is very user friendly!! Keep it up!!

So, I go to open his app and it says it updated. Then it tells me it has a yearly subscription fee, with no warning for an app that I already paid for twice. Thanks but no thanks, Ill find another that does the same. Brotherhood at its finest.

To all who paid the one time fee. I believe you can talk to apple and they will refund that one time fee, since it stated in the description back then that it would be a one time fee only to use this app.

Like many other loyal customers I purchased this app years ago and have been happy enough to keep it, but no longer. Obviously he had a poor business plan to start with and now instead of looking for a way to generate new customers he is going to try and Take from current ones. NOT ME or anyone I recommend this app to in the past!! Loyalty is huge and he just showed his. If hes done this once you better believe he will do it again when he loses more and more customers. By next year this "test" subscription fee maybe $10-$100 whats from stopping him??? Do yourself a favor do business with another upfront and honest company not one that baits you in then ups the price!

I updated this app and I love the new features. I have had other apps, both free and paid, and this one works best. Keeps track of my hours and syncs with my other calendars. I dont have to flip through my calendars to see my work and personal schedules. I recommend this app to any FF looking to keep track of their schedule.

I have had this app for 5 years. And I would give it 5 stars before the update. A lot of time was put into it over the years to get it the way I wanted it. Was a great calendar for my hectic shifts, a fire job and EMT job, a wife working shift work as a paramedic and 3 kids to have places. The update left some bitterness. I have played with it reluctantly and have came to some happy conclusions. I can deal with it. It took some work but Im anxious to see the way they are going with it. If it will sync the way they are saying it will, I can see myself giving it 5 stars again. It has been a life line for me the past 5 years. There are pros and cons with the new update. But I can see they are working extremely hard to get it to where they want to. If you look at their Facebook page, they have been planning this since late 2013. Well their vision is here. Lets give them a chance.

I bought this app back in 2009/2010 for 1.99 or 2.99. Ive shared with other Firefighters & even some private Ambulance. They paid over 5.00. Now theres a monthly subscription fee?!?!? GREEDIEST, AVARICIOUS, RAPACIOUS. Im jus going to use the FREE GOOGLE Calender. Ive found a way to set-up the 4 Platoon there! In this app I still had to MANUALLY enter my debit days.

Am I right when I read that you want to start charging me more money for an app that I have already purchased? I have this app on two phones, a Droid and an Apple, that I have PAID for already. Now because you have updated the app, youre going to start charging me more? I believe a refund for both phones are in order for your company since Ive already paid in full for your services, but have now decided to start ripping people off for more money.

Not sure why others have such a problem with paying .99 cents a year. Its literally not even a dollar! Great products come with a cost, and this one is minimal. Great app and great service, my email was answered promptly.

After paying for this app when it first came out I was extremely happy with it as it did most of what I needed it to do. Now I am going to be charged a subscription after I have already purchased it? Absolutely not! In fact, those of us who payed for it and are now being required to pay a subscription fee should be reimbursed our money for the first purchase because I am sure most will not keep it. Either that or allow those who payed in to help start the business be grandfathered to keep using it without a fee... My two cents...

As have many others, I have purchased this app twice before and used it faithfully on several devices. Saw the update and figured I would see what they added......... A YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE, thats what !!! What a load of @&$#!!! I have notified my other brothers/sisters in mine and neighboring locals (which I convinced to go to this app as I am a member of a county wide mutual aid hazmat team) not only NOT TO UPDATE this app but switch to a competitors app which doesnt require subscriptions. Good riddens greedy leaky nozzle

I paid for this years ago. Now they demand a subscription fee?! Whats next? I would not buy this again.

This was the best app until the update. Now its horrible, over-complicated,and they want to charge again for something weve already paid for... Ridiculous. I am really upset because I loved this app before now.

I love this app. I ran into some difficulties but the customer support was on point. He walked me through it all. I told some private ambo friends and they got it too. Not upset to pay .99 cents a YEAR for a great product and continued support and features. Thank you!!

I have had firehouse scheduler for years with no problems... Then recently the app changed changed its name to crewcal with a weird looking calendar that lost some of my dates, and now its asking me for money. Ive emailed support multiple times and no one will email me back... Total joke! What happened to the firehouse Scheduler I paid for? Guess its time to find a new calendar...

This app was a rather expensive one when I installed it several years ago ($5.99) but I decided to give it a try. Seemed to work well. Then I see an update along with several other other apps on my phone and didnt read the fine print (shame on me). Once you update you start a free trial for 30 days. After that you have to pay .99¢ a year for a subscription on an app you already own!!!! This is a scam. Do not update!! Do not install!!!
